- Furnish quality, state-of-the-art, educational tools, venues and personnel;
- Continually provide high levels of support for all participants and their families, including focus on their personal health, well-being and safety.
Community Awareness and Support We will: - Attain and sustain a very high level of community awareness so that people know who we are, what we provide, and how to access opportunities;
- Populate every community that wishes and needs the KidsFest movement;
- Be perceived as an integral and valued part of communities, such that if we failed to exist, there would be an outcry in the community.
Organization We will: - Endeavour to be an integrated cohesive organization (thinking globally, acting locally)
- Maintain a strong passionate and committed group of volunteers;
- Provide opportunities to allow all participants to share input to, and access decision-making processes;
- Ensure that people are informed where to voice their concerns and that they have an opportunity to be heard;
- Be officially bilingual and respect the diverse cultures in Canada;
- Be accountable to our members and partners – Decision-making processes will be transparent, clear, fair and consistent;
- Constantly challenge ourselves to build into the lives of millions of economically challenged young Canadians.
