Kids Helping Kids

“Kids Helping Kids” is a program designed for younger volunteers. It is a chance for young and teenage students to practically help their peers who are living at or below the poverty line in Canada. With the participation of their schools, students annually collect supplies for the KidsFest School Kits (Backpack Program) , which distributes backpacks filled with vital school supplies to economically challenged children in seven provinces, including British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and Nova Scotia.

You and your school can help make this possible! To participate, a minimum of 50 students must be involved in raising the supplies.

Newsflash

On behalf of the kids whom KidsFest serves, we would like to thank our Presenting Sponsor, TD Waterhouse, and our many other Corporate Sponsors, KidsFriends, and patrons, who made the 8th Annual KidsFest Signature Gala in Oakville at the Oakville Conference & Banquet Centre on April 18, 2008 such a great success.  Because of your generosity, we will continue to pave the Pathway of Hope, which is leading Canada’s 1.2 million children who live in poverty into new possibilities.
