Last month, two of our youth were invited to participate in the Scotiabank Hope Hockey Game in Toronto.  Steven and Dominic enjoyed the rare and exhilarating opportunity to play hockey with Scotiabank executives and NHL alumni players Wendel Clark and Mark Napier.  To ensure that each participant was well-equipped for the game, Scotiabank generously donated complete sets of new equipment and personalized commemorative jerseys to each of the young participants.

The Hope Hockey Game was one of several special opportunities for our children sponsored by Scotiabank during the fall season.  Throughout the football season, several KidsFest Running & Reading Clubs took part in the Toronto Argonauts Ambassador for Youth Program, receiving home game tickets, meals, and transportation to the Rogers Centre, thanks to the sponsorship of Scotiabank and additional sponsors.  In September, a number of our children were also given a box for a Blue Jays game.

KidsFest thanks Scotiabank for helping to make dreams a reality for our children by granting them these extraordinary experiences.  Participation in these events has encouraged and inspired many of our children to persevere in the pursuit of their goals.
