"KidsFest Kids" Relay Team at the STWM

On Friday, September 24th, 2010, thousands across Canada and internationally will cheer on our team of kids as they are given the distinguished honor of running alongside former Olympian & Canadian Women’s Marathon Record Holder, Silvia Ruegger and Mayor of Toronto, David Miller, in the Torch Relay & Marathon Flame Lighting Ceremony at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon opening event.

The Torch Lighting Ceremony and commencement of the relay will take place at 9:30 am at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto. The Torch Bearers will head south on Bay Street and finish at Exhibition Place for a Flame Lighting Ceremony following the relay.
